Privacy Policy

Rusinga International Consulting Ltd., commercially known as RusingAcademy ("we", "us", "our"), operates Lingueefy. This policy describes the information handled by the current platform and clearly separates dormant coach-commerce features from any future activation.

1. Information We Currently Collect

We may collect information you submit, such as your name, email address, account and coach-profile details, contact requests, support communications, and optional media. We may also collect device, browser, IP address, cookie, security, and usage information needed to operate and protect the service. A recording is collected only where a recording feature is actually used and the required consent has been obtained.

2. How We Currently Use Information

We use information to operate accounts and public profiles, support contact-first introductions between learners and coaches, provide requested services, respond to support, maintain security, understand product performance, and meet legal obligations. Marketing communications are sent only on a valid consent or other lawful basis, with an available opt-out.

3. Coach Marketplace Payment Status

Integrated coach checkout, card charging, automated booking, commission deductions, and coach payouts are dormant. The current coach marketplace therefore does not collect or transmit coach-session card details through a Stripe checkout, and it does not create automated coach-session payment or refund records. Marketplace coaches publish rates within $30-$100 CAD/h before tax. Separate structured RusingAcademy offers use 65 CAD/hour after a 0 CAD pre-sale diagnostic + plan; these published prices do not mean that checkout is active.

4. Information Sharing

We share personal information only as needed with service providers that support current hosting, authentication, communications, analytics, security, or support functions; with a coach when you choose to contact that coach; or where disclosure is required by law. Stripe is not currently used to process coach-marketplace transactions. We do not sell personal information.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide an active service, to protect the platform, or to meet legal, accounting, dispute, and fraud-prevention requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. Deletion requests are assessed subject to lawful retention obligations.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw optional consent, opt out of marketing, or request deletion or portability where available. Contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, session continuity, preferences, security, and product measurement. Browser controls can limit cookies, although essential account features may then stop working.

8. Safeguards

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the current service. Access is limited according to operational need. No Internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

9. Service Providers and International Processing

Some service providers may process information outside your province or outside Canada, where different laws may apply. We evaluate providers and use contractual or other appropriate safeguards where required. Each provider is also governed by its own privacy terms.

10. Age Requirement

Lingueefy is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Future Coach-Commerce Activation

Before any future activation of coach checkout, automated booking, commissions, or payouts, we will publish the applicable commercial and privacy terms and identify any new categories of information, processors, purposes, retention rules, and choices. Dormant code or a future integration reference does not authorize current processing.
